Hello, Hello, Hello, fellow MLG'ers and new friends alike.

As many of you folks know, I will be doing a 24 hour gaming marathon on October 15th-16th, in order to raise money and awareness for childeren's hospitals.

I'm very happy and proud to say that I've figured out a way to honor and represent my MLG family by creating a fund raising page that specifically benefits The Children's Hospital of Wales.

I picked The Children's Hospital of Wales because it's located in Matt's new home town, Cardiff, and well, my last name is "Evans" after-all.

See, that MLG google map is getting some use out of it ;-)

All I'm asking for is around £15.

To be honest, we will take any size donation and thank you kindly for it. I just suggest £15 because that translates roughly to $24 which represents $1 for every hour I game.

I don't want to chew your ear off but I have three other important things to share.

1. 100% of what you donate goes to the hospital. Nothing goes to overhead. They raise money in other ways to handle those costs.

2. We are going to have an epic multi-camera web feed. You will be able to laugh your ass off as me and my friends turn into babbling idiots as we attempt to game for 24 hours straight. You will also be able to communicate with us via web chat. Heck, make a drinking game out of it, every time I my character gets killed, take a drink ;-) Or I can crowd source you guys for clues and suggestions while playing LA- Noire together. But if you want to get in on the web feed, I'd really appreciate it if you made small of donation, because the kids are ultimately what this is all about.

3. As the date get's closer, I will post an estimated gaming schedule so that you guys can join me for some multiplayer action. The great thing about gaming for 24 hours is that time zones no longer matter. At some point in the day, we're bound to meet up online.

With kind regards and much MLG love,

GoddTodd

I'll sponsor you sir.

I don't have much left, but I will find a couple of quid as its all for a good cause. Thank you for choosing a hospital in the UK…very noble of you.

Keep reminding us as we get closer to that weekend so we can all come on line and keep you company.

Thank you very much good sirs!

Honestly, I don't care how small the donations are.

If you've got happen to have 5p to spare this week, please donate today.

If you can spare another 5p next week, even better!

Please don't feel obligated to hold out until you can make some "significant" contribution.

Again, thanks for your support guys, and as we get closser to the event, I'll post a schedule of games I expect to be playing at certain times.

Alright Folks!

It's 3 days until Extralife, and I have Jury duty on Friday, so this may be my last chance to beg a pound or two off of you for a very worthy cause.

First off, a big thank you goes out to the three very generous lads that helped us achieve our initial goal of $200.

But we're gamers, and we all know that goals are meant to be smashed!

What I'd like you all to do right now is donate 1 pound to the Children's Hospital of Wales.

If you want to donate something more substantial later, that's wonderfull, but all I'm asking for is 1 pound from everyone reading this post.

For about the cost of a bag of Twiglets you could get a warm fuzzy feeling of helping save childeren's lives, and you will also recieve a direct email on Friday night to the MLG Extralife webcam feed.

A Bag of Twiglets              or                Saving a Sick Child

What would you rather spend your money on?

Is there really any question?

The size of the donation doesn't really matter. The act of participating is what really counts. You're saying that your awarness has been raised and that you care. Together, gamers can make the world a better place.

As a Welshman who lives near Cardiff and actually works not far from the hospital it would be a crime to my country if I didn't support this worthy cause.

Off to make a donation now…

Best of luck with the gaming marathon, GoddTodd.  Make sure you take regular breaks and stretch!

5min later….Right, think I have donated, filled in form and everything. Page seemed to take a long time to process things then returned to original link page.  Hopefully my donation went through, any probs let me know and I'll send it again!

Bloomin' technology…..

BALLS AND BOLLOCKS.

I so wanted to catch up with you during this sir.

Alas the gaming gods were against me this time….I had the DIY Demons to battle along with the In-Laws this weekend.

I trust you had a good time of it?

We wouldn't have been able to hook up anyway.

We could never get the network to work with the Xbox.

Very Brutal.
