Dave Perry's Gaikai cloud based gaming service started beta sign ups on Sunday. So far over 10,000 people are currently playing the likes of Call of Duty and World of Warcraft on their iPads. I tried signing up, but apparently my bandwidth isn't up to scratch or I'm too far away from their servers… Bummer.

Low-res iPlayer videos stutter from 4pm to 10pm. The future of gaming has its head in the clouds.
