How about those British classics pork scratchings or pickled eggs for your next challenge?

Perhaps English mustard would make the basis of a good taste challenge. NB – English mustard is NOT like American mustard.

I'll make a shopping list for the next time I go to Cost Plus Imports or Berkeley Bowl.

Not sure if I've ever seen jellied eels though.

That might require a special mail order.

I'm loving the idea of this being a regular feature. Are we just suggesting unusual British foods for GoddTodd to try or are we trying to replicate the "marmite face" we saw on the vid with some less than enjoyable option? If its the former than I'd second the jellied eels option and of its the latter then it has to be he cinnamon challenge.

I'm not doing the cinnamon challenge. Only an idiot would do the the cinnamon challenge or try to chug a gallon of milk.

I will however be happy to do the Jacobs Cracker challenge again. I think I recall winning that when I did it for Brother Brown And Currierox while we were waiting for the boys to Skype me into Eurogamer last year. Picture me wearing that blond Holli wig scarfing down dry crackers. The things you lads at Eurogamer miss if you don't Skype me :-)

I still trying to find a place that imports Jellied Eels.

i like the sound of English mustard, but it HAS to be Colman's, it has to be, its the dogs genialia…  Plaus i think it would be adviseable to go for a similar level of spread on a yorkshire pudding!!!

I'm no stranger to Yorkshire Pudding. For years, whenever my family had prime rib, it's been an ongoing joke in my family that my dad couldn't make a properly risen Yorkshire Pudding to save his life. But even a flat pudding is a pretty good pudding. My sister and I threw away the family recipe and we make ours in large muffin tins instead of a baking pan.

English mustard isn't that uncommon here either. We Americans tend to be pretty international in our tastes for mustard. British mustard, Chinese mustard, German Mustard, Grey Poupon  :-)

Dash, can't wait to try eels shipped internationally in the dead-heat of summer.

Is Yorkshire pudding a known thing in the States, GT?

Yes and no. Older generations might be more familiar with it.

Younger generation might be more likely to order salad with their steak or prime rib.

But those that do know it, never forget it.
