Which is probably an overreaction. Two weeks I've had an iPhone 4S. Front screen glass just smashed. I got a text from Orange telling me my bill was ready. And it slipped off the top of my PC, where it was charging, onto the floor. I thought it was supposed to tough. Bugger. God I hope it's covered by my insurance. I think it is.

 

Anyone else had this terrible fate befall them? Advice?

I dropped my brand new (at the time) 3GS down the toilet after two months of ownership. I took it to my local Apple store and lied. Told them it fell into the kitchen sink while washing up. I must have caught them on a good day as they sent it off for a referb for only £30.

You certainly did catch them on a good day Baron! I have an appointment to get it fixed at the covent garden store this week. Wallet £144 lighter. I've got over it.
