The wonderful Indie Game:The Movie is now showing on Netflix.
"'The film documents the struggles of independent game developers Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes during the development of Super Meat Boy, Phil Fish, during the development of Fez, and also Jonathan Blow, who reflects on the success of his Xbox Live Arcade game, Braid'"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I….._The_Movie
One of the most interesting films about video games i've seen since the subliminal The King of Kong, which is also available on Netflix..
cheers,

I like movies too much. I think every one like it because this is one of the best way of entertainment. Now cinema is changing day by day. You can see the changes easily. Now movies are making with huge budget and with new experiments. And one of the best source which everyone is following with very high speed internet. Now every one like to watch movies on one click for this site like net flicks and more is available on internet. Which are providing these facilities.

Is it me, or does Phil Fish come across as an arse in that Docu?
Don't get me wrong- I adore Fez, but he didn't come across half as well as the Super Meat Boy guys.

I kind of felt sorry for him, especially when they had the PAX demo. Yeah he was an arse, but he seemed like he was, how do I put it delicately, 'on the spectrum' (not the ZX kind). I felt like we were only seeing half his story because his former partner didn't take part. I got the impression that the game was probably too ambitious. Also – what the hell was up with all the Hilary Briss face hair? I burst out laughing at one point when Edmund McMillen popped up and appeared to be sporting two beards on the same face.
It was a shame that the film was done before Fez came out, because the bugs and subsequent patch debacle would have made the film even better. Great movie though.

The game was basically the sum total of his adult's life's work. If it failed he was never going to be able to make another game and had no idea what else he would do. It looked like he was on the verge of a total breakdown at PAX.
The day of Super Meat Boy's release on XBLA is amazing.

Great recommendation. I watched this earlier in the week. Those Super Meat boys are awesome.
That game is BRUTAL!
If you like this, check out 'The King of Kong another' awesome film about the world high scorers in Donkey Kong.

Great movie and would love to see more. I was not surprised how Braid devloper was shot – seemed like he had a say in that as it jarred against the rest of the talking head styles.
I love stuff like this (which is why I chose NF over LF) so anything else we havent watched?
