Good Luck Dude!!

Actually excersing before gaming is meant to be good as it helps to improve your responses and reactions

That might help you get through that pile of shame quicker

Not sure I would have the will power to stay off the currys though wink

Yep, good luck brother.

Remember to take photos as well.  And measurements.  The scales don't always tell the whole truth! thumbs-up

Actually, I go to the gym before Undead Thursday kicks off.

The endorphins are still swimming around, making the zombie slaughter all the sweeter.

I recommend it. thumbs-up

Ideally you need Dr Gillian to examine your poo at two week intervals to ensure everything is going to plan.

She's quite expensive to hire so may be more cost effective to just get the missus some marigolds.

with an mile and half you should be if you are in normal shape should be roughly 10 minutes  that is out in the wilds not on a tread mil if you people want any futrther help just give me an shout on fitness and nutrition as i have some exprience in both

also when doing an mile and half may not be long check to warm up and  check you get a good pacing going also when running out in the wilds check you have good supported footwear not just a cheap pair of slip on trainers so many times i have seen people trip over with crap footwear

also with you dilemma with currys i know how you feel noting like nice bombay burner  but may i suggest buying the weightwatchers or any diet currys there are less fat if what i do is half the portion if it is missing some taste add a bit of tobasco

Loosing weight can be really tough but the rewards when you`re done are so worth it. I was a big guy all my life until the age of 28 when i decided to change it and loose allmost 10 stone. So i know what you have in store. I`de say the biggest challenge isnt actually loosing the weight, its keeping the weight down when you`ve reached the weight you are happy with.

Ill give you a few tips: Dont focus too much on the fact that you are on a diet. Try to forget about it, keeping simple rules as to when you eat and how much. If you think about it too much it will take so much space in your life that you will tire of the entire diet.

Dont be afraid to treat yourselfe now and then. It will help against what i wrote above, making you feel that you arent sacrificing everything good in life. Having some snack once a week helps a whole lot. just keep it tight in the week.

Your weight will vary alot, going up and down. Some weeks you will feel like you worked hard as hell but still gained weight. This is normal. Your body will try to resist the weightloss.

Keep it simple! More rules means its harder to keep the diet. Dont count the calories or read too much into whats in the food. Stay away from the fatty shit and eat sensible. Its not rocket sciencewink

my last and most important tip on how to loose waight: Eat less, exercise more. Repeat until you`re satisfied!

Good luck brother. Just remember to be honest with yourself, think of all the small things (like butter on bread and sugar in tea), drink loads of water (well that helped me!) and yes do treat yourself sometimes or you'll go mad.  Oh and finally spirits have less cals than beer, hoorah!

Easy way to loose weight – don't eat bread or bread related products. forces you to stop eating buttered toast / bacon rolls etc etc. and all teh crap that goes on bread..

Iv lost about a stone and half recently, still need to shed another stone b4 our jollies to the Dominican. All Iv done is cut out the cakes and chocies really. Being a postie I get a fair bit of exercise you see, there's a little rule Iv been following. I'm sure everyone knows it, eat like a kings at breakfast, prince at lunch and a paurper at dinner. Plenty of fruit in the morning mate, set up your metabolism for the day. If like me you crave chocolate all the friging time, make some rice krispy squares or coconut macaroons. Easy and tasty, minimal fat smile

Best of luck with it. I recently lost twelve lb in three days though stomach flu isn't a recomended way to do this. However I have decided to not put it back on so am watching my diet more (I'm sucker for Krisprolls and other crackers though thankfully just plain with no added cal on them).

I have also finally found a schedule to get back into the gym, which with a one year old ain't easy. So after a month the weight is still off and I've lost a couple more lb too. now 15st 12lb. and about 1.5 belt sizes down. need to buy a new belt.

Well the losing isn't the be all and end all of it. Its good to try and aim to lose 1-2lb a week.

A single curry is ok… just not a curry a day !You can do it.. .keep going. More confidence is good.. think of that when you are tempted to eat more crappy food!

I did a 10 mile walk on Sunday…. so am enjoying beer tonight… but no more beer till the weekend

Constant dieting is not so good.  The occasional 'bad' food is ok.  There is proven scienctific fact behind this but it would make this post too long.

Also if you order takeout curry if you leave it until the next day it cools and a lot of the fat pools on the top: this can be tipped away.

Good work fella! Keep at it! I managed to go from 16 stone down to 11 stone over the last couple years- A four-mile walk on a Saturday (to the pub of course!) and cutting down the junk food has really changed my life. I still eat chocs & treats, but in moderation, and I still drink plenty beer -I just make sure I don't go to the takeaway afterwards.

The main thing is to promise yourself something, and STICK TO IT! Lose the weight slowly, and there's less chance you'll put it back on. Watch your bread intake, especially white bread (I now prefer wholemeal), and do something on your day off – an hour's walk or 30mins cycling will do wonders, and give you a chance to catch up on podcasts. Park a little bit further away in Tesco's car park, or walk to the shop down the road instead of driving. The little things all add up.

To anyone else trying to lose weight, good luck to you! You can do it!

Holy balls, I could still murder a pizza, though.

Godd luck to you fella.

I too am trying to lose the man-mammary glands and the fella flab.

The problem i and most people have is persistance, I usually run four – Five times a week for 5 miles a time with my dog. My only problem is keeping it up because after a month i get bored and stop or make excusses.confused

Currently on 13 Stone and been eating chineses like a man poisoned whos only antidote is to eat MASSIVE ammounts of noodles.yawn

oh and a mistake is to try and stp smoking too at the same time, I did a month then went on a whiskey/Ginger Cigar gaming marathon.

One thing at a time.

The post has inspired me to have another go at the whole NOT having a heart attack thinglaugh

I am also working on a huge pile of shame including:

Metroid prime collection

Super Smash Bros Brawl

Castlevania LOS (on hard)

Enslaved

Ilo Milo XBLA

Raskulls  XBLA

Gyromancer XBLA

Perfect Dark XBLA

Puzzle Quest XBLA

The Legend Of Zelda Majoras mask N64

…And a seemingly infinite ammount of iPhone games.
