Down from like 14.4
Feeling a lot more confident buying clothes and going out without a tracky jacket on etc
Have bad times now and then and just go…fuck it
And get a Chinese
But now the football seasons finished I no longer have to put up with the abject displays from Sunderland to put me in them bad moods.
I must say, I've barely exercised too. About 30 mins a day when off work. Though I do work 4 nights a week so it's impossible to get into a pattern.
Nothing better though than feeling really bloated. Hopping on the scales and seeing your weight about a stone less than like 2 month ago. Great feeling
Completed 4/5 games too. And I'm not being sat playing them with a bag of doritos etc or glasses of baileys. It's a proper treat now. And you can treat yourself too. Don't go fearing it'll undo all your hard work. It won't. I'll write more when I'm not at work

This is all very inspirational stuff guys!
I've always struggled with my weight. Not that it's ever really bothered me. I always tended to pile it on when I was in relationships (fat & comfortable) and then dramatically lose it when I was single (excercise, lots of nights out and chasing skirt!).
I know for a fact that the baby has taken a serious toll on my waist line. Lots of late nights and early mornings leave me feeling bloody knackered and craving calories in all their many wonderous forms. It also leaves you very short on time so it's all too easy to buying crap throughout the day instead of preparing proper meals.
I'm determined to get back on the health kick though. Not least because I could fit back into half my wardrobe again.

Dieting is super tough so well done.
I've recently started a low carb diet and in to week 5 and lost 13lbs so far. Started of at 12st 12lbs and aiming for 11st 4lbs.
Its amazing the difference a few lbs make, my moobs have stopped bouncing and my suit isn't as snug as it was. Hopefully i can fit into my kilt again very soon.
The great thing with the carb diet is that you do eat quite a lot of good food so i never feel hungry and have no cravings for junk food. I think the idea of 'treating yourself' isn't good but i guess sweets and cakes are seen as a treat from an early age and thats a mindset thats hard to shift.

Hey STeam Robot can you let me know which low carb you are using? Carbs are my down fall (I can eat a whole pack of crackers plain). Also would be good to fill my belly with good food and not just carbs (my appetits is up and down so something with small meals woudl be great).
I'm stuck at 15st 8lb (was 17st a couple of months ago) and would like to push down slowly over the coming year.
Well done to everyone else on here who is payingattention to their health.

hi mym1nd,
i'm following a book called The New High Protein Diet by Charles Clark http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/pro…..ss_product
Although the title is 'high protein diet..' its actually more about reducing simple carbs, saturated fat and sugar, and getting the body to burn fat. Its a very balanced diet with healthy veg – no bannanas as they are 30g of carb! After the first 2 weeks i've really gotten in to and never feel hungry or have cravings and started eating foods i've never tried before.
Initially i lost a lot in the first week. mostly water weight, but now its settled to a healthy 2-3lbs a week.
cheers,
steam

No problem.
I'm actually in a really good mood today as i hit 11st 10lbs for the first time in 2 years, which puts me in to the green on my bmi, by 0.05 points . Still its nice to be considered not overweight. Another 6lbs to go to reach my target.

well, after a slow descent over the last 3 weeks i've finally hit my target weight of 11stone 4lbs and it feels good. Just need to tone up a bit.
Now the tricky bit, ease of the diet and back to eating carbs and having a beer again!
