Moustache Season is upon us, so we’ve decided to register for Movember and embrace the hair of the wild.

We’ve pledged to cultivate genuine 100% face grown moustaches for 30 days to raise awareness and funds for men’s health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer.

Now, we're on the hunt for fellow trusty and fearless pioneers to join us by signing up to our team.

Why are we concerned about men’s health?

*1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
*This year 37,000 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed
*1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime
*26% of men are less likely to go the doctor compared to women

Growing a tash is free, so there's no reason why you cant turn this free enterprise into a money making for an awesome charity.

I found the original rules:

1. On "Shadowe'en" (October 31), the complete moustache region, including the entire upper lip and handlebar zones, must be completely shaved.
2. For the entire duration of Movember [November 1–30], no hair shall be allowed to grow in the goatee zone (any facial area below the bottom lip).
3. There is to be no joining of the moustache to sideburns.

I shall also be rolling the way of the 'Trucker'.

Out of interest, what 'tools' are we all using?

I'm rolling with the King of Shaves Azor along with their shave gel.

Unless I'm in a rush, I'm also using a shaving brush to 'lift' the stubble…makes it a more ‘delightful’ experience.

I wash in warm water beforehand, then put COLD water in the sink. That way the razor shrinks and – to my mind – makes for a sharper edge.

Oh, and fuck that 'shave in the direction of growth'…I go against the grain!

Call me a tart, but a dab of moisturiser helps – especially as the temperature is starting to drop these days.

I guess when the tash growth begins in earnest, there will be some trimmage and grooming discussion.

Someone in the pub last night said I looked like Frank Howard with a tash.  Needless to say i wasn't pleased by this. But.. Mo retreat Mo surrender!

Woohoo, that was good fun.

Personally I think I raised a few smiles and more inmportantly awareness.

Went to a few get togethers over the month and met up with some fellow MoBros..
