Its always sad when someone passes away… but I don't get why this has to be attached with hate for Bill Gates who's doing more for charity than most

Was pretty shocked when i heard this and surprised myself on how gutted I felt.
Sure his life story will make for a great film.
A great visionary who has probably had more influence on everyone here than most people (along with Bill Gates).
Rest In Peace Mr Apple

It's no secret Bill Gates and Steve Jobs have been business rivals for years so I thought it fit in with my Haiku. I meant no disrespect.. I think Steve would have found that funny.
It's also no secret that Steve Jobs never openly gave to Charity. He may have done anonymously, but he doesn't seem the type of guy to wear the 'I gave to charity because I'm such a fucking great guy!!' badge. Unlike Bill and Melinda who call their charity 'The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.' Talk about blowing your own trumpet.
I can't help feeling cynical about rich peoples' involvement with charity. Do they really care or are they making themselves feel better. Maybe they really believe they're helping to change the world and in all honesty I can't deny their sincerity. So fair play to Bill and Melinda.. I give them the benefit of my doubt
RIP Steve Jobs.

If you have never watched it Pirates of Silicon Valley is a superb film which tells the story of how Gates and Jobs effectively created modern computing right from their business statup in a garage through to what Apple and Microsoft are today. There was a lot that I didnt know and I would recomend it to any computer obsessed child of the 70's and 80's… its and awesome story really well told.
