I've added my glamourous little corner of the world onto the map but the option to edit is greyed out (if any can assist?)
I can't be the only one from the North West surely……

No sure if this is right, but this is how I got it to work.
1. Click on the link http://g.co/maps/vnxmu
2. Sign in to Google
3. Put your postcode in the Search box
4. Left click on the pointer and "Save to Map" (if you have multiple maps, select (MLG Map)
5. Top left of the page (above the list of people) click Edit
6. Click on your address and you'll get a popup box
7. Edit the title with your name
8. Move the pointer if needed by just clicking and dragging
9. Click Save (on the top left menu)
10. Click Done (on the top left menu)
and your all done
ps Ti1t you live very close to me and II Gizmoo II

I have to say that I am really happy with the uptake of this.
OK, the UI for Google Maps is a pain in the ass but it serves a purpose.

You really live on eday(population about 130)…..Damn!! that is remote.
I have been to Orkney a couple of times with the work (Skara Brae is one of ours), but never to any of the other islands.

Indeed, why should the only meet-up be at Eurogamer!
