Just woke up to news about the stone roses

Anyone else excited about this…or maybe concerned about how it could be a tragic cash-in?

I only got to see them live during the second coming days, and it was a bit shambolic. But it was a new years concert, it was snowing , it was a drunken trip across the penines, it was the fookin stone roses!!! Happy times!

Well at least they admit they're only in it for the money! I never saw them at the time, I think I mainly listened to metal in those days. Seen Ian Brown a couple of times, 'shambolic' springs to mind. I guess a new album would be interesting. Blur were pretty awesome when they reformed for their pension funds a couple of years ago, but then I was ripped to the tits in Hyde Park at the time.

I should think I'll go see the Roses, if only for '…Resurrection'.
