I think so, but you've gotta do something to them, convert them to a different format. Too much hassle, its Marimba for me all the way!

That shows you how to do it. Does take a little bit of work, can be pretty great when sorted properly.

Jailbreak your Phone with Blackra1n

There's a free app on Cydia (alternative iTunes store) that enables you to use any of your tunes as a ring tone.

Blackra1n is 100% undoable and doesn't break your phone or iPod.

Krypton Garden by Sidhe (from the Shatter Soundtrack)

I would have a cool message tone, but the iPhone is a bit poo in that regard. I may try jailbreaking when my contract's up

Why don't you Jailbreak it now, it can't damage it, and you can reverse the procedure at any time.

Damn you and your downloads and fancy Sky TV thingies…… Some of us have to wait until all this good stuff comes out on DVD.

Then we take a week off to sit at home watching it all in One big go Awesome

Just changed my ringtone to the House MD theme (UK version, not the teardrop US version). Was thinking of using Henry mancini's Baby Elephant Walk though Smile

Msg Tone – digitized Water Droplet thingy.  Sounds like someone having a dump…! PMSL

I'm still unsure how to get MP3's set as ringtones on my iPhone.

So I'm stuck with the "Strum" theme.

Where possible, I ensure mine makes a "ring ring" tone as not many people use that.

One of the directors here has his phone go "moooo"

I want to break it!

If you have Garage Band 09 there is a special setting for making ringtones for the iPhone. I think there are few sites that will do it for you as well. I have heard you can do it in iTunes by copying the file, not sure.
