Just looking around the site and realised how many episodes were recorded before I started listening, as they are out every week I didn't have chance to catch up.

My question is when did you start listening when was your first episode??

Would be interesting to see if there were certain episodes where more people joined in

Mine was Episode 59 – Do the Bartman!

Oh.. Tricked into another thread that made me think it was about sex..

Anyway.. I started at about the 50th-ish episode. I listened to the earlier ones while at work. Couldn't wait to get back to work each day to catch up on them .. lol.

It was quite funny to hear Matt and Daren get excited about the launch of the PS3 etc.. each one a little time capsule of what was going on in the gaming world at that time. I recommend anyone to go back and download the first ones if you haven't heard them already. Specially love the one where Matt has a bit too much too drink.. well one of the many.

39 – Ginger Stink, the week before I decided PS3 not 360. I was just in time to learn about 'reach around' in episode 40.

Episode 30 Frank & Beans, I remember listening to it while waiting for the Mrs to come out of work and when she finally appeared she was greeted with 'I know you're not into gaming but have a listen to these Two loons'.

Never looked back Smile

I'll be fucked if I can remember…it was around the time there was a Forza2/Left4Dead comp with Sanctuary4Gamers.

There was a clip of them on the S4G show…as soon as I heard those Midland accents, I knew I had found a spiritual home.

Around Feb/March 2009. Seems like only yesterday.

Thanks for all the good times guys.

According to my iTunes, October 2008.

Episode 12 – Spoon Ninja

Matt bought a PS3 – and he was banging on about being stuck on a Peggle level even then!!!

Needless to say, I got the wife to get me a PS3 that very crimbo, and I haven't looked back…

Cheers guys.

I think it was sometime around episode 43 because they were talking about Prototype and Infamous.

Then I went back and listened to them all.

I believe it was episode 3 or 4 for me, can't remember the name of the episode though. Saw it on the new and noteworthy section on iTunes. Listened to every episode and haven't looked back since Thumbs Up

Edit: MidlifeGamer Podcast Episode 3: Warm Hammer

New game Braid and why it could change your life! More Rock Band
action with added DLC. Geometry Wars 2 scores, community Gears of War
