If you find one that's being sold near you, you should be able to go and look at it.

I took a gamble on my first road bike on ebay. There was one rubbish picture, but the spec seemed ok and it was only down the road. When I won the auction and went to pick it up and I was shocked. It was spotless! A bargain as well.

Loved riding it so much that I bought a proper bike.

I do love riding my mountain bike, but it's so different on a road bike. Equal fun, just different, and they compliment each other perfectly. I think I've got much fitter from long distance road cycling which equates to me doing longer trails and having more fun in the woods, and my mountain bike skills mean my long road rides never get boring. Wheelieing and pumping through bumpy sections, getting air off and bunny hopping speed humps, and track standing at the lights so I never have to put my feet down!

Welcome to MLG I am very much like yourself when it comes to games I tend to only buy 1 day one purchase a year. This year has been the last of us which is amazing, apart from that i have just finished ratchet and clank a crack in time and uncharted 3

Good choice on the biscuit front and since you preempted the big question here is the follow up do you prefer red sauce or brown sauce on your sausage rolls

Do it, get a cheap road bike from ebay. It's great fun, and you can do some real mileage and see some beautiful sights.

We didn't get to Brighton until 17:30. The amount of people on the road was shocking. By the time I'd had a couple of pints with my friend and his family, it was seven o'clock. I only had enough daylight to make it about 27 miles back towards my house. It was a good day though, and supporting my mate was the whole reason for me being there.

We're planning to do it again soon, so we can actually cycle all the way there without all the non cyclists getting in the way!

As far as I understand it, isn't Sony and Microsoft's DRM policy the same, and I thought they were converting the unused Microsoft points to cash?

I really like the idea of installing my game to the hard drive then throwing the disk away, or just downloading it digitally. It's the way forward.

After my 30p download of Super Metroid, which has to be the bargain of the year, I've started to play through the Metroid Prime Trilogy again. Such great games.

Not really sure if I'll be getting either new system though. I don't want to pay for a camera that I don't need, but I can understand why they've added it. I expect I will eventually buy one or both, but this year I'll be tied up with Pikmin and Wind Waker.

A quick question. Does anyone know what the PS4 does with your blurays, as in can you install and then put the box and the disc on the shelf forever as you do wtith PC and eventually the XboxOne? Or does it require the bluray to be in the drive while whilst you play?

Because the former sounds much more appealing…

PS4 (from what they say again and again) will keep the old system.

This means disc based authenticaion. This is what enables used games, rentals, offline play.

This does not have the option to share the game digitally between "family" like the XBox One does,

where it is still a question what those 10 family members can be, or more direct, if the system can be exployted by a group of friends. Just image you buy a game once and 10 people can use it (at a time). I would think they gonna close that loophole.

Latest News from today that I found, the Microsoft Points now have an Expiration Date, so go use them buggers.

http://www.technobuffalo.com/2.....tion-date/

Hello everyone.

I'm new to the podcast so I thought I'd join up to the forums. I'm currently listening to the old episodes in chronological order and am currently about 4 years behind! But I'm listening to about three a day now, so I'm sure I'll be up-to-date soon.

My name is Paul. I am thirty years old and I live in London. Surprisingly enough, I work in e-commerce and am not actually a Rentboy (that's just an old WoW avatar name I thought was funny at the time).

I split half my time between my PC and my PS3. I have just finished Assassin's Creed 3 on PS3 and am now installing Hotline Miami on my PC. I am an absolute sucker for Steam sales/Humble bundles/Gog sales etc, so my digital Pile of Shame is growing rapidly.

I have a tendency to be a little behind the current times with my games. I don't really ever play things in the first year of release (I received Assassin's Creed 3 as a gift and probably wouldn't have bought it until some time next year otherwise). As such, it's good to listen to the older podcasts as games that have been out for a while but have not yet played are still being talked about, which is nice.

Hopefully I shall get to meet you all in time and I'm sure we shall have some good gaming sessions soon.

Paul.

P.S. My favourite beverage would have to be a nice cold Strongbow and biscuit would probably be a regular old chocolate digestive.

GoddTodd on MAME Game of the Week

Thanks for spreading the MAME love R.I.

Nerdjackers are good friends of the MLG family. I think that anyone who promotes the preservation of classic arcade gaming is a class act in my book.

Speaking of which. I came up with a cool game to check out this week. I may have mentioned it before on a MLG quiz, but I don't think very many people have had the opportunity to play this game.

It's called Boogie Wings, and you can get the ROM here:

http://www.romnation.net/srv/r.....Wings.html

Here's a clip of some of the varied gameplay on it's different world stages.

I just love Boogie Wings. You have Bi-Planes with hooks on them that you can pick just about anything up with and chuck them at your enemies. You also get cameos by the likes of The Blues Brothers, Frankenstein, and Mecha Santa Clause. The game is very manic, and awfully silly. Check it out!
