It’s that time of year again. The one when all game releases are squashed into a few short weeks. This year has certainly flown in, it feels like I was only writing about Silly Season 2012 two months ago. What do you mean it was only two months ago? You’re kidding me, December was just a mid-season break? I thought those things were reserved for American TV Shows.
After writing the original Silly Season article – and thinking that it ended on a massive high with the release of Far Cry 3 – my wallet let out a small but audible whimper when I realised that, in a change from the norm, the Silly Season continues after the festive season ends
So without further ado, here is the confirmed release schedule for Silly Season Part 2
Week ending 11th January
Anarchy Reigns (PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360)
Ninja Gaiden 3 (Wii U)
Week ending 18th January
DMC: Devil May Cry (PlayStation 3 / Xbox 360)

Again, I stress this is only the confirmed release dates and does not include the titles that have a current release date of Quarter 1, Spring 2013, or an expected month of release. To put this in perspective; at the time of writing there is not a single Vita game with a confirmed date of release and only a single 3DS game. This will surely be amended as we move forward into the year.

my wallet just let out a torturous scream.
At least one of the games mentioned each month is on my watch list. (NiNoKuni, Dead Space 3, Aliens : CM, Tomb Raider, Gears of War : Judgement), and at least half are already on pre-order.
No Bioshock Digi? That and Tomb Raider for me. And probably Dead Space 3 – but the last one got discounted heavily a fortnight after release and I don’t want to get stung again.
